The Beginning - A Journey of Resilience
In 1972 Maharashtra faced a devastating drought that forced many families to migrate for survival. Among them was Rajarama Chourasiya, who moved from Uttar Pradesh to Pune, seeking better opportunities. He settled in Shikrapur, a growing trade hub on Pune-Nagar highway and observed the busy marketplace near ST bus stand. Recognizing a need for quick snacks, he started selling roasted chana, peanuts and tea which soon became favourite among travellers and locals.
The Beginning

As demand increased, Rajendra Chourasiya, the next generation took charge and expanded the business. He introduced new products like Channa, Chikki, Namkeen and Dryfruits. With a growing customer base, the family established their own manufacturing plant and opened a grand showroom onnt the highway, making Chourasiya Foods a well known name in the region.

Continuing the Tradition
After Rajendra Chourasiya’s passing passing in 2001, Santosh Chourasiya and his four brothers took over the business, bringing innovation and expansion. Today in 2025, Chourasiya Foods offers over 100+ Premium products maintaining the same authentic taste and quality cross generations.
